We're proud to announce that we have won Most Customer Focused Digital Transformation Specialists 2021 - Greater Manchester in the Corporate Vision Small Business Awards.

We work extremely hard to build long-lasting relationships with our clients, building a deep knowledge and understanding of their business and their customers. We strive to improve the customer experience at every step of the journey, and the software we build shows how much we care about the work we do.

This is the second award we've won, having won Best Bespoke Software Development Consultancy - North West England in the 2020 awards, along with three other awards in 2020 and 2021.

As a small business, it's great to be recognised in awards that are not "pay-to-play" and recognise real achievement, so we're extremely proud of the awards we've won, and this latest award is further validation that we continue to provide exceptional value for money for our clients.

The Small Business Awards have been a part of the Corporate Vision awards programmes since 2016, with an aim to recognise innovative and hard-working organisations, and their owners. With so many obstacles to overcome over the last year, it is more important than ever to support small businesses however we can.

According to the FSB, SMEs make up 90% of the business population worldwide, and account for 50% of employment. With the economy relying on small businesses so heavily, it’s important to recognise their efforts as they help to shape the corporate landscape.

Awards Coordinator Gabrielle Ellis took a moment to discuss the success of those recognised in this year’s programme: “Small businesses are the backbone of the economy, and their work should be recognised to match their efforts. We offer our sincere congratulations to all the winners, and good luck for the future.”

Four interruptions, two lost hours and the process your people shouldn’t be driving

Four interruptions can wipe nearly two hours from the useful part of a working day, and that’s before you count the interruption itself. Add long manual processes, routine human error, rework and stress, and you get a working environment where good people spend too much time recovering, correcting and chasing.

The answer isn’t to tell people to focus harder. It’s to design a better system, one that drives the process, preserves context, moves routine work automatically and only interrupts people when their judgement is genuinely needed.

The approval takes five minutes. The waiting costs far more.

A five-minute approval can leave work waiting for days. Once a quote, purchase, job or invoice misses its slot, the delay spreads into the rest of the process.

People switch tasks, schedules move, customers wait and cash arrives later. The decision itself may be quick, but the queue around it can cost far more than anyone realises.

You probably don’t need a CRM; you need the work to flow properly.

You probably don’t need a CRM; you need the work to flow properly.

Most growing businesses think they need a CRM, but the real problem usually sits between departments.

When sales, operations and finance all rely on different systems, spreadsheets and good people end up holding the process together by hand.
